Photos Of Updated 2014 Volvo S60, XC60, XC70 And S80 Leaked. Volvo is set to introduce major updates across its range, with only the C30, which just bowed out of the market, and the XC90, which is due for a complete redesign at the end of next year, missing out. The first photos of the updated range, which includes the S60 and S80 sedans, as well as the XC60 and XC70 crossovers, have just hit the Web. The new range is expected to be launched on the U.S. market for the 2014 model year and should be announced officially in the near future.

The changes will be the last before all these models switch to Volvo’s modular SPA platform from 2015 onwards. The first model to be based on SPA will be the next-generation XC90. The images, which first appeared on Swedish website Teknikens Varld, show that Volvo’s designers have incorporated the look previewed on the striking You concept car that debuted at the 2011 Frankfurt Auto Show. In particular, we can see that the headlights on many of the models have been reshaped, along with the grilles, bumpers and hood contours. The available shots of the interior also reveal minor updates.

Most of the engines are expected to be given minor tweaks to improve performance and economy, while a new touch-screen interface could be added to the cabins of each of the models. Despite the lack of new product locally (Volvo has launched new V40 and V40 Cross Country models as well as a V60 Plug-In Hybrid overseas), and a greater focus on the Chinese market, Volvo still sees the U.S. as strategically the most important market. The automaker is targeting approximately 70,000 sales in the U.S. this year, and is waiting until the launch of its SPA-based models before revising those figures higher. We’ll bring an updated story once Volvo confirms the 2014 model-year changes. Photos Of Updated 2014 Volvo S60, XC60, XC70 And S80 Leaked.
